Attorney General William Barr released the main points of Robert Mueller's investigation in a four page letter to Capitol Hill lawmakers. In the report, it stated that Mueller found no evidence that President Trump's team or associates of his campaign worked together with Russian-related people, despite multiple offers from them. Although Robert Mueller has explicitly stated that the report does not exonerate Trump of any crimes, Trump told reporters that it was the "most ridiculous thing I've ever heard." The letter has recommended no further indictments against Trump or any of his team.
Discussion Questions:
1. Should further investigations continue?
2. Do you believe President Trump is guilty? Why or why not?
3. How will this impact the upcoming 2020 election?

1. Yes further investigations should continue.
ReplyDelete2. I believe Trump did do something illegal with Russia. His team has already faced many repercussions and many people he had worked with confirmed the accusations
3.This will cause Trump to be seen as less credible

1. They should continue the investigation
ReplyDelete2. I won't take a stand on whether he is guilty or not, but throughout the past 2 years he has been president there has been a lot of unsettlement about him across the country.
3. He is already pretty incredible so yes he will be seen as less credible
Yes, further investigations should definitely continue. Since I am not in the investigation, I cannot come to a conclusion on whether he is guilty or not because there is not evidence for it. Trump has already done suspicious things, but he still has 2 years left to go so he can be more careful next time until the election.
ReplyDeleteI think further investigations should be conducted so I believe he should be convicted.
ReplyDeleteResources should not be wasted scraping the bottom of the barrel to find ways to constantly bash Trump.
ReplyDeleteThis could hurt Trump's chances in the 2020 election. People may use this investigation as a reason to not vote for him. If they suspect that he committed a crime, less voters might not vote for him because they can't trust them.
ReplyDeleteI think that, yes further investigation should take place. Maybe the president made sure that nothing bad about him was released. I don’t believe that he is totally innocent, but i don’t believe that he is super guilty either. If he is found guilty, then people won’t vote for him, but if he is truly innocent then he will get revoted
ReplyDelete1. I think with all the backlash against him and the links to Russia, I think it may make sense to look at it again, perhaps with different people.
