by the “Yellow Vests” group. These protests have been going out hand ever
since President Emmanuel Macron recently announced that the taxes will go
up by 20%. This made citizens very furious and has caused the 4,000 protesters
to burn police cars on fire, throw grenades, and trash the city streets. While most
citizens of Paris are fine with the actions of the “Yellow Vests” protesters, some
are hesitant and afraid. The protests are so dangerous that while a man was trying
to take pictures of the action, a couple of witnesses saw a grenade in his way and
his hand completely blew off. These violent protests have caused people to act
rebellious and many witnesses have gotten injured. The members of the “Yellow Vests”
have been not found and are unidentified for now.

I agree with the Yellow Vest because they need to make their position known to the government of France. By demonstrating they have the attention of France, Europe, and the world.
ReplyDeleteI think the government in France should lower the tax to stop the riots. If they don't the riots will keep going on until the the tax is lowered.
ReplyDeleteYes, I do believe the government should change the taxes because it's causing large riots in which people could and are getting hurt from, but also the protesters shouldn't have been so violent because now the government has to pay by fixing all the damages made. :) -Rani M.

ReplyDeleteI agree that the tax is a little bit too much, maybe decrease it by 10%? The people in the yellow vest may be a little bit overreacting, it’s gonna cause more money issues, things they don’t want already.
ReplyDeleteI think that the taxes should be lowered. It is obliviously causing problems and if the gov. doesn't do anything about it the "yellow vest" people could get more out of hand than it already is.
ReplyDeleteOverall, I think that there is an extent to the protesting that the Yellow Vests did and they did go a bit overboard because if they take it too far it's going to make the police and government more upset and prone to get more mad at them which will cause them to go even further
