President Donald Trump has recently decided to go against the state of California and some of its funds. He claims that the money the state has, has been given to them to build a "bullet train" to make transportation easier between the north and the south. His administration plans on cancelling $929m in grants for this project even though California has already began with the construction of part of the rails. President Trump has called it "failed" project and posted on his Twitter a tweet that said "Send the Federal Government back the Billions of Dollars WASTED!" This Bullet train would make transportation from San Francisco to Los Angeles much faster and cheaper for the general public. Just a day before Trumps allegations against california on Twitter "a coalition of 16 US states led by California said they were suing the president to block his "misuse of presidential power" over building a US-Mexico border wall".

I believe that the "Bullet train" should be built. The bullet train allows people to travel for far distances with while lowering the fossil fuels being produced by the community. The more we save on fossil fuels the more that we can help prevent global warming

I think the bullet train should be built. It would allow lots of people to travel better and while doing this it would decrease the amount of energy being used(saving fossil fuels)and potentially reduce the affect on global warming.

I think President Trump is reaching for money. I understand the wall was a promise he made during campaign but it cannot be executed without the money of the people which not all support.
ReplyDeleteI think the bullet train should be built. It would decrease the price of transportation between SF and LA and it would decrease the amount of time traveling between these places. It would not only be for traveling from SF to LA, but to almost all of California.

ReplyDeleteI think that the bullet train should be built because it can help the global warming process slow down. Since the bullet train is faster in commuting people from LA to SF, it'll reduce the amount of fossil fuels people use to go back and forth. With the bullet train, California will use less fossil fuels and decrease the amount of greenhouse gases we emmit into the atmosphere.
